Welcome to Kids Talk

Kids Talk provides screening, evaluation, treatment, and parent training/counseling for speech (articulation, voice, fluency) and language (receptive, expressive and pragmatics) disorders, for infants to teenagers.

Kids Talk is committed to providing the highest quality service with individualized attention to each child's specific needs. Kids Talk offers a warm environment where children and their families can feel comfortable while going through the treatment process.

Parents/caretakers are an integral part of the treatment process and they either actively participate in the sessions or observe via a closed-circuit TV system with the goal of carrying over gains made in therapy to other settings (i.e. home and school). All other professionals working with the child are kept informed and up-to-date regarding the child's progress (with the parents' consent).

We offer individual treatment programs, group programs (i.e. social-pragmatic groups) and parent training programs (i.e. Hanen Programs: “It Takes Two To Talk”).

Improved communication skills often lead to a more positive self-esteem and a happier child.
